thanksgiving a la swoozies

After a few weeks of perusing inspiration boards and photos, I finally came up with my Thanksgiving tablescape and place settings for this year with the help of my lovely friends at Swoozies!

AND I’m bringing it to you a week early! What good is a holiday tablescape the day of anyway? Hopefully this will inspire your own table in plenty of time for next week.

To show it off, I celebrated an early “Friendsgiving” with some of my closest friends. Georgetown Events Catering sent over a delicious feast from Jetties.  And needless to say, I am certain that this was the first of many food comas to come…

I like how chalkboard is incorporated throughout! So fun. I like the full names on the napkins as well. :)

Gorgeous! I really wish I was this good at setting a table. It’s just kind of hard to host parties in a tiny university apartment :/

By the way, I found your blog through Southern Blog Society. I’m thinking about joining it myself :)
