As the oldest of 4, with my youngest sister being only 9, it’s safe to say that Santa visited us last night and enjoyed red wine and cheese on his stop (little little sister’s idea, not mine).
Whether you’re enjoying a “White Christmas” today or far from it (like myself down here in Florida), I hope your day is spent with those you love most!
Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday! Thank you for reading!

I hope everyone is enjoying time off with close family and friends accompanied by lots of hot chocolate and Christmas movies.
Still have shopping left to do? No fear! Two of H&T favorites, Drybar and Sweet & Spark, offer e-giftcards this holiday season so there’s no shipping or waiting involved.
While I don’t want to outshine the Christmas season, it’s also time to start shopping for the New Year’s Eve looks & dresses! 2014 will be here before we know it!
In light of my “Favorite Things” Party this past week, I thought I’d share a few of my other favorite things lately. Call it a gift guide if you must (better yet; a Christmas list).
1. Rewined Holiday Candles – Wine Under the Tree + Root 1: Carmenere are my two picks (c/o*).
Watch the AMAZING video below to learn more about my favorite candles from Rewined + their new scent! These make perfect gifts for just about anyone. West Elm also sells a few of their candles.
2. THIS Christmas-inspired Puffer Vest by Lands’ End – ON SALE for $34 and LAST day to get in time for Christmas with standard shipping is today!
I am thrilled to announce a new monthly series with my good friend and fellow blogger, Julie of Julie Leah, a life & style blog. Julie lives in southwest Virginia and we first met when I was blogging and brand director of Sweet Lemon Magazine. I always look forward to her visits when she makes the journey to DC toting along her adorable southern accent and perfect hair.
Our first post in this series of “Here & There” is about DIY Ornaments!
My take on the DIY ornament is below and warning: glitter is most definitely involved.
{Note: the “J” is for Julie, of course!}
Check out Julie’s beautiful & colorful DIY ornament below with the full post + instructions HERE.
Oh and if you don’t follow Julie already on instagram or twitter, you’re missing out!
Stay tuned each month as we cover a variety of topics from DIY crafts to recipes, fashion, favorite spots and everything in between.
